kestrel-staging, a staging project, runs on Large compute all day, every day
kestrel-staging is a staging project on Large compute around the clock.
All of this comes straight off your bill.
For Supabase and Claude
We only read. Where a platform issues no read-only key we tell you what the key can do before you connect. Within about a day you get a plain-English report: what is costing you, what is safe to change, and the exact fix. We never touch your setup.

Your report, four answers
Your bill split into the handful of things that make it up, biggest first.
Each idea is labelled, with the reason in one sentence.
Two numbers, and where each one comes from.
The exact steps, how to undo them, and a ready-made file where your plan includes one.
Safety labels
Before we suggest a change, we look at what depends on it. You get a label and a one-line reason, so you know where to start.
Listed so you know we saw them, and chose not to suggest a change.
Two numbers, always
Some waste is real but will not change this month's invoice, because of a contract minimum or something you have prepaid. So we always show both numbers, side by side.
List price estimatePriced at published list rates, because we do not have your contract or billed rates. Your own rate may differ.Worked out from public prices. Your real price may be lower.
Your contract ratePriced at the rates in the contract you confirmed.Worked out from a contract you uploaded and confirmed, line by line.

The fix
Every fix comes with plain steps and a way to undo it. Terraform and config files, each with a rollback, come with Assured. You apply it, when it suits you.
1. Open the project settings for kestrel-staging.2. Change the compute size to Micro.3. Watch query latency for a day.
Ready-made fix files come with Assured. The steps are always free.

After the first report
We scan again every week. If something new starts costing money, it shows in your report, and on Assured we email you that week.
One email with your two numbers, what changed, and the next safe thing to do.
After you make a fix, we check a later bill to confirm the saving happened, on platforms that show your billed cost.
Access
We only read billing and usage data. Where a platform key could technically do more than we use it for, we say so, and tell you how to keep it tidy.

No. We only read. Where a platform issues no read-only key we tell you what the key can do before you connect. Every fix is a file or a set of steps that you apply yourself.
Connecting takes a few minutes. Your first report is ready within about 24 hours, and we email you when it is if you ask us to.
Every number shows its basis. We use the rate your account is billed where the platform shows it, and public list prices where it does not. Upload your contract and we use the rates you actually pay.
